So its just under 3 weeks until I start consrtuction. I finally got financial aid and was able to buy my supplies for my guitar. Yes yes... in a few months that pile of wood will look something like a guitar.
But before I begin I need to complete finish work. So far the class has been pretty fun. There has been a lot of tomfoolery. Leon dicided to make a dipstick into a miniature tele neck (boedigheimer style) with authentic nut and frets... he works too hard.
AND, the best part, I get to wear this mask all the time. I feel very important... gotta watch out for those organic vapors.
Today we had to make up our own color to stain a board. I chose to match some blood spatter that Brian had on his desk from the night before. Instructor John Reed put a lot of blood and sweat into his work and I decided to honor him for it by matching my color to his blood... and I did a pretty good damn job.
